Day 1

Start your safari adventure with excitement as the guide picks you up from your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha. Hop into the comfortable Land Cruiser with its iconic pop-up roof and explore Arusha National Park. It’s just an hour’s drive to the entrance. Explore the vast plains of the ‘Little Serengeti’, where buffalos and antelopes graze under the African sun. You might even spot warthogs. Venture deeper into the park and admire the impressive Ngurdoto Crater. You may encounter elephants along the way.
The highlight of the day is a relaxing paddle on the picturesque Momela Lakes in a traditional Canadian canoe, surrounded by colorful birds and perhaps even hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint with panoramic views of the plains, with breathtaking Mount Meru in the background. End the day with a three-course dinner at Rivertrees Inn in Arumeru, followed by a refreshing swim in the pool. Reflect on a day full of adventure and unforgettable moments in the Tanzanian wilderness.

Another option for an excursion on this day is a guided walking safari in the park. You’ll encounter giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, and dik-diks. If you’re lucky, you might even spot elephants.

Day 2

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a new adventure to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park. The drive to the entrance offers breathtaking views and possible encounters with freely roaming wildlife. Upon arrival, begin an exciting safari through the lush forest area, with the chance to spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch amidst nature and continue your safari along Lake Manyara and vast savannas.
You’ll see a variety of animals, from grazing antelopes to elegant giraffes. Armed with your camera, you’re ready for every encounter, even with majestic elephants. Conclude the day with a visit to the famous hippo pool, where hippos and colorful water birds gather. Upon arrival at Isoitok Camp, a luxury tented camp in the Maasai area, a culinary feast awaits with local ingredients and delicious wines. Let the sound of hyenas lull you to sleep, a perfect end to a day full of adventure.

Day 3

After breakfast, we head towards the breathtaking Serengeti. Along the way, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint for a spectacular view of Lake Manyara. We pass through the gate of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving past the impressive Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the vast plains of the Serengeti.
At the entrance on Naabi Hill, we enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing to Seronera. Along the way, we encounter characteristic rock formations, ‘kopjes’, where majestic lions are often found. With luck, we may even spot a leopard near the Seronera River. Upon arrival at Zawadi Camp, we enjoy the sunset around the campfire with a drink, followed by a delightful dinner under the African starlit sky. Moyo Camp offers us an unforgettable night full of magic and wonder.

Day 4

Today, we have the vast Serengeti all to ourselves, offering a unique opportunity to see its iconic residents. These are large lion prides, the impressive wildebeest migration, elegant leopards, and graceful cheetahs. But that’s not all – along the way, we’ll also be treated to encounters with gazelles, impalas, colorful birds, zebras, majestic giraffes, imposing buffaloes, and impressive elephants.
The Serengeti truly epitomizes the pinnacle of an African safari. If we’re fortunate, we may even encounter the rare rhinoceros, completing the famous ‘big five’ checklist, all in one day. We’ll find an idyllic spot in the park to enjoy our picnic lunch. Perhaps at the visitor center we can learn more about the fascinating history of the Serengeti. At the end of this exhilarating day, we return to Moyo Camp, where the enchanting African starry sky sparkles above us. Here, we can once again savor a serene evening and a peaceful night, surrounded by the sounds and the magic of the African wilderness.

Day 5

Today begins early with a quick cup of tea or coffee to warm up before we depart for sunrise. At this magical hour, we have the best chance to experience an unforgettable sighting, such as a majestic lion hunting a herd of wildebeests. We’ll be captivated by the beautiful sunrise as we drive along the picturesque Seronera River, hoping to spot more wildlife.
By the end of the morning, we’ll return to our camp for a hearty brunch to discuss our adventures and refuel. Then, we continue our journey to the protected Ngorongoro area, a place of extraordinary beauty. We’ll traverse the impressive crater rim and arrive in the charming town of Karatu, where our sanctuary for the night, Ngorongoro Farmhouse, is nestled among lush coffee plantations. Here, we’ll be treated to a cozy happy hour and a delightful dinner by the crackling fireplace. As the evening falls, we’ll enjoy the warmth of the fire in our rooms, a perfect end to a day full of adventure and wonder.

Day 6

Today we start early after a refreshing breakfast to arrive on time at the enchanting Ngorongoro Crater. This spectacular crater harbors an unparalleled concentration of wildlife, with the chance to encounter entire lion prides and majestic elephants. We explore the entire crater, hoping for a glimpse of a rhinoceros. After an exhilarating morning, we drive to the stunning Maramboi Lodge, where we arrive in time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool overlooking the captivating Lake Manyara.
As the sun sets, refreshing drinks and snacks are served by the pool, creating a magical and atmospheric moment. Later, we can enjoy a delicious dinner indoors or outdoors on the beautifully decorated deck of the dining area. Our accommodation consists of beautifully appointed rooms, a harmonious blend of canvas and stone, where we can relax and unwind after an exhilarating day full of unforgettable experiences.

Day 7

Awakened by the characteristic sound of grazing wildebeests around our tent, we greet the sunrise casting the surroundings in a golden hue. Always accompanied by the soothing cooing of the morning-dove. After a delightful breakfast in the warm morning sun, we prepare for one last adventurous game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park is renowned for its impressive herds of elephants. Along the way, we encounter a variety of wildlife, basking under the imposing baobab trees adorning the landscape.
Though the chances of spotting big cats here are slimmer than in other parks, the charm of the surroundings makes this final game drive all the more special. We indulge in a tasty lunch overlooking the picturesque Tarangire River. Then, at the end of the afternoon, we return to Arusha or Moshi. Here, we bid farewell to each other after an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and natural beauty in the stunning northern parks of Tanzania.

We offer this trip as a private safari. Prices depend on the number of people in the group and the age of the travelers. The following is included: park fees, concession fees, camping fees, mentioned excursions, transportation with a pop-up roof Land Cruiser for all seven days, English-speaking guide, full-board accommodation, drinking water, and all compulsory taxes. Not included are tips, other beverages, and personal expenses.
